Catholic Advocate to Score Vote on H.R. 2 for 2012 Voter Guide
WASHINGTON – Catholic Advocate Voice urges members of the U.S. House of Representatives to support H.R. 2 which would repeal and replace the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (PPACA).
For Catholics, a key part of the vote will be consideration of H. Res. 9, which instructs relevant House Committees to replace PPACA with legislation that achieves certain goals including to “prohibit taxpayer funding for abortions and provide conscience protections for health care providers.” (more…)
