Final HHS mandate rule a slap in the face

The Obama administration is trying to pull the wool over our eyes…again.

Yesterday they released the final ruling on the HHS mandate, claiming to take into account the public feedback received during the comment period. Frankly, I don’t know what feedback they considered – but it definitely was not from concerned people of faith.

The administration’s “compromise” still does not protect religious liberty and still requires individuals to pay for products and services against their beliefs. It’s ridiculous! If a religious organization notifies its insurance company that it opposes the mandate coverage, the insurance company will provide that coverage to the organization’s employees anyway – it will just be paid for by the premiums paid by other plan participants, not the organization itself.

We can’t decide if the Obama administration thinks we’re stupid or just plain doesn’t care. Either way, this final ruling is a slap in the face to every single faithful American!

If you, too, are angry and sick and tired of having your rights trampled upon, please join us and thousands of faithful Americans in praying for our rights by joining the Virtual Vigil for Religious Liberty.
